Environment Protection (Ozone) Regulations, 2000 (S.I. 24/2000)

The Seychelles ozone-substances regulations. Reg 4 prohibits production; regs 5–7 require permits for sale, use, and decommissioning; reg 12 mandates recovery; reg 15 sets penalties (up to 2 years imprisonment and R20,000 fine). Schedule lists controlled substances (CFCs, halons, CTC, methyl chloroform, HCFCs, HBFCs, methyl bromide).
